What voice commands can you use with your Echo or Nest devices?
You can use virtually every piece of your Elizabethtown smart home via your AI assistant. See the situation with your smart devices, transfer to a pre-determined template, or tinker with the details of a setting with some easy vocal commands. Or tell your Echo or Nest speaker to arrange your entire security system just like in the Vivint App.
Here’s a preview of a few voice commands you can assign to Alexa or Google:
-
“Arm my security system to away.”
-
“Latch the front door.”
-
“Power off my family room light.”
-
“Did I leave the garage door open?”
-
"Record a clip of my outdoor camera."
-
"Turn down the heat 2 degrees."
-
“Turn off the downstairs light in 30 minutes.”
You can also preset cycles in your Alexa or Google Home app that utilize different functions. For instance, try "Alexa, I'm leaving," and arm your alarms, lower the thermostat, and secure the doors. Or create a routine for "tv night" and ask your home to dim the lighting and set the temperature to just the right level.
